The Accutex Die Sinker DS ZNC Series of four RAM type EDM machines can handle workpiece sizes from 38″ x 22″ x 14.9″ (965 mm x 558 mm x 378 mm) to 67″ x 39″ x 22″ (1700 mm x 990 mm x 558 mm). ZNC series incorporates rigid heavy duty Meehanite castings designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure high accuracy machining. Premium grade ultra fine Class 5 ball screws, high resolution 0.0002″ linear optical scale for the X,Y and Z axis coupled with high quality linear ways produce smooth, precise operation. The programmable Z axis incorporates the latest technology including conversational programming, fuzzy logic servo and machining parameter selection, automatic arc monitoring and digital dual discharge circuitry for fast, low wear, reliable results. The optional COC-280 Orbit cut system, when added the standard Automatic Z Axis Step function, the DS-ZNC series performs like a full 3D machine producing super fine finishes down to 0.18 Ra µm and accuracies to 0.0002″ easily and efficiently. All ZNC model die sinking EDM machines offer an NC-controlled X, Y axis option that allows for a wide range of operations only available on full 3D machines. Multiple cavity positioning, X or Y axis side machining, auto centering, fuzzy auto set parameter setting and X,Y axis orbiting using the COC-280 integrated orbit head make the AccuteX DS-NC series boost cost effectiveness and productivity.
